Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 30, 2026
EverythingLogs is operated by Javive Inc ("Javive", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through the EverythingLogs website and application (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Text messaging: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information — name, email address, user ID, job title, the company you belong to, and your password (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Contact details — a mobile phone number, if you choose to provide one for text message notifications or two-factor authentication.
- Content you record — the log entries, records, attachments, photographs, and notes you and your colleagues enter into the Service.
- Support correspondence — messages you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, used to operate and secure the Service.
- Cookies — we use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
- Location — only when you explicitly enable location capture for an entry, or your administrator enables it for a form. Location is never collected in the background, and you can opt out in your account settings.
Information from services you connect
If you choose to connect an outside account — such as email or a calendar — we access only the data needed for the feature you enabled, and only with the permissions you grant. You can disconnect at any time, which stops further access.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate you and protect accounts, including sending one-time security codes.
- To send notifications you or your administrator have configured — in the app, by email, and by SMS where you have opted in.
- To respond to support requests.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the content you record to advertise to you, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
3. Text messages (SMS)
SMS notifications are optional and off by default. You turn them on yourself in your account settings and supply your own mobile number; we record the date and time consent was given. Messages relate to your account and the work recorded in the Service — for example a status change, an assignment, a reminder, or a one-time sign-in code. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Message frequency varies with your settings and your organization's activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for assistance. You may also turn SMS off at any time in your account settings.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. We do not sell, rent, or license mobile phone numbers, opt-in records, or messaging consent to anyone, for any purpose.
The only disclosure of your mobile number that occurs is to the licensed telecommunications carrier that transmits a message you have asked to receive, which cannot deliver the message without it. That carrier acts solely as our processor, is contractually restricted to transmitting the message on our behalf, and is prohibited from using your number for its own purposes, for marketing, or for any promotional activity. This is message delivery, not sharing, and it is the sole exception to the statement above.
4. How we share information
This section does not apply to mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Mobile phone numbers, opt-in records, and messaging consent are excluded from every category below, with the single exception of the carrier that transmits a message you asked to receive, as described in section 3.
Subject to that exclusion, we share other personal information only in these circumstances:
- Within your organization — the Service is collaborative. Entries you record are visible to others in your company according to the roles and permissions your administrator configures.
- Service providers — vendors who host our infrastructure, deliver email, and provide error monitoring. They may process information only to perform services for us, and may never use it for their own purposes or for marketing. Message delivery is covered separately in section 3.
- Legal requirements — when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Javive, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers — if Javive is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy. Mobile opt-in data and messaging consent are not transferred for marketing or promotional use, and any successor remains bound by the commitments in section 3.
5. Data retention
We keep the content you record for as long as your organization's account is active, so that your log remains a usable historical record. When an account is closed, we delete or de-identify its data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, one-way hashing of passwords, additional encryption for fields marked sensitive, role-based access controls, and isolation of each organization's data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction — you can view and update your account information in the Service at any time.
- Notifications — you control which notifications you receive, and by which channel, in your account settings.
- Location — you can opt out of location capture in your account settings.
- Deletion — you may request deletion of your personal information by writing to us. Where your data belongs to your employer's account, we will direct the request to that account's administrator.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, or to opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal information). To exercise any right, contact us at the address below. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.
8. Children
The Service is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will provide additional notice through the Service or by email.
